Our client is a rapidly expanding British interior design agency. Since launching on the French market two years ago, they have experienced an exceptional start, marked by the opening of their very first store in the iconic Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the heart of Paris’ interior design district. 

They are now looking to recruit a Sales Executive to promote their high-end product collections to architects, interior designers and VIP end user clients. Candidates must be bilingual French / English with experience in sales in interior design, architecture or creative, artistic products.

 

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to introduce customers to the brand and support the growth of the company’s presence in France. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of the company in France as they continue to build strong relationships with trade partners and showcase their beautifully crafted collections.

They are looking for someone with high energy, outbound sales experience and a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences. You’ll be passionate about design, hungry to drive growth, and ready to be part of an exciting journey to establish the brand as a leading interior company. 

You’ll be responsible for introducing new trade customers to the brand through outbound outreach, supporting inbound enquiries, and ensuring a first-class experience for Trade (B2B) customers.

 

Your responsibilities 

  • Generate new leads, establish, and maintain strong relationships with customers within the French market
  • Develop and implement a strategic outbound sales plan to grow the trade customer base
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within France
  • Call existing customers and explore new opportunities to collaborate on projects
  • Build and nurture reseller accounts
  • Collaborate with showroom staff to maximise inbound sales opportunities and drive team motivation
  • Support and develop other French speaking markets within Europe

 

Your skills, qualities and experience

  • 1-2 years of outbound sales experience
  • Experience working in the interior design industry or selling creative / artistic products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English essential
  • Pipeline experience HubSpot or Sales Force preferred but not essential
  • The ability to build strong relationships with direct reports and customers

 

Salary / Opportunity

  • 32K€ basic + bonus (approx. 8%)
